What about giving the server a setting to start scanning the DropFolder (s) after startup?

Thanks. Yeah, it's still screwed up once you drill down the the individual episode level. The name in the list on the right should extend further, and drop the overlay from the previous screen which highlights the episode counts.

After some workaround with FreeFileSync i am now able to use My Anime 3 and i must say i am impresses.
Work really good till now.

There are just some small points i would like to mention, maybe i am only to blind to see how something ist working.

1. When i merge series to one group (for example Moving Black Butler 2 into Black Butler) by using Move Group the group Series will be moved but anempty group will remain which i have to delete. Would it be possible to delet that group (here Black Butler 2) automatic?
2. The delete Link button for Episodes behaves a little bit strange for me, sometimes it is there sometimes not. I would need it to unassociate some files i have deleted from my Fileserver shich are still shown in the JMM Client (eg i have two Files asociated for an Episode of an Anime, the deleted one shows the Missing sign, but i have no chance to unassociate it from the Episode)

First of all: Thank you for your hard work on myanime

The new version is working good so far, but I have one problem. In My Anime 3 the animes have unconsistent names: Some are english, some romanized japanese and some kanji. This makes it difficult to find certain animes in my collection. I can only find an option to change the naming scheme in the JMM client and not myanime. Am I missing some thing?

Ok will take a look.

1. Yeah someone else has suggested this as well, but I left the empty group there as some times I am moving series from one group to another and don't want to re-create the group if it is auto deleted
2. The delete link button only appears for episodes which you have manually linked.
If you have moved a file, you can go to JMM Desktop - Server Tab - Remove Missing files button.
This should remove those links.

I really really want to be able to use this plugin, but I'm having a problem connecting to AniDB Everything installs fine otherwise.

I opened ports 4556,4557,9000 (tcp and udp) just for good measure and turned off the windows firewall. I know the AniDB credentials are correct and I even tried creating a new account for testing purposes (I can log in on the website with both). Still get Login Failed! when I try to connect. Any ideas?

*edit* FIXED turns out the default port in JMM server/desktop isn't correct. Set it to 4555 and it works like a charm.

Hi,

i just migrated from MA2 to MA3 and the JMM/Server/Desktop applications, this worked so far. The only problem i encountered so far is that the desktop app. and MyAnime3 is kinda unresponsive and very slow? This means if for example, i open the "recently watched" or "currently airing" groups, it takes around 15 seconds before anything is shown at all? Is this a Alpha version problem or some kind of database problem?
Just as a comparison, in MA2 all filters/lists worked nearly instantly? So any clue/idea how to resolve this?

Which database are you using, and how large is your collection (series count)?

I used the default SQLite and have just a 2TB disk with like 261 series.
