Sorry about the late reply, but I also haven't been able to figure it out.
The changes that worked for 1.2 don't work for 1.3

In 1.3 (not sure if it was the case for 1.2), but I think the references.xml file for White is here
ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Avallonis\white

This didn't work for me either.

Have you tried asking the skin devs?

So sorry for the delay, but here is the howto.

    1.
First you have to create a shortcut to the JMMServer.exe (you can put it whereever you want).
Then you have to say the program that it has to start minimized (you can do that in the propertys of the shortcut (you can do that only with shortcuts, so that's the reason why you have to create it)).

You just can put the shortcut to the autorun when you disabled UAC (but I would never do that).

Sorry for the german GUI, but I think you will find the option ;)

    2.

So this if for to deal with the UAC.

Because the Task Scheduler (a tool we will use) can't deal with shortcuts, we have to create a batch file (.bat) which will open the shortcut.
To do that, create a txt file and fill it with:

    @echo off
    @set "tmpVariable="||(set "tmpVariable=1"&start "%~dpnx0" /min cmd /c %0 %*&set "tmpVariable="&goto :eof)
    start /min "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\JMM Server\JMMServerm"

I am not really shure about the two first line, but it should helps to make batch invissible.
Just replace the path with yours (but make shure that there is no blank inside).

    3.
Start the Task Scheduler by typeing "taskschd.msc" to the Run dialog.

Create a new task (don't need a special name).
    3.jpg

    4.
Edit the proertys of the task and and choose that it has to start with the highest previleges.
    4.jpg

And add the batch file at the action Tab.
    5.jpg

    5.
    Close the Scheduler.
Create a new shortcut which will points to:

    C:\Windows\System32\schtasks.exe /RUN /TN "Jmm"

(replace the Jmm with your task name.)

    6.
Last: Put that shortcut to the autorun.

    THATS ALL!

Thanks a lot for this, I will add it to the wiki.
Btw, did you try it without the shortcut, JMM Server actually has an option in it's settings to start minimized

    Hi

Sorry if this seems like a newb question but i tried searching google and these forums and the wiki page as well...

    I followed the installation steps
    install JMM server
    JMM desktop
    then my anime 3

But when i go to MP config there is no MY anime 3 in the plug-ins screen... I tried uninstalling then re-DL and install and nothing shows up
    Any ideas ?
    MP 1.2.3.0
latest stable release from MY anime

I see it as installed in the MP extensions manager but it doesn't show up in MP-config

Can you check that the following file exists
    .\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows\Anime3.dll
