Egon, have you released the mencoder-powered version of this plugin to the public yet for wider testing? it might solve some of these new issues.

No, the new version is still being worked on.
And I dont think it will fix the plugin not being recogonised on peoples machines...that part of the code hasnt changed. The problem is that I cant reproduce it locally. I have installed a copy of 2.1.0 and I cant get it to fall over.

Haven't got a chance to test this plug-in, but pretty interested on it.
Quick question: Any ideas on supporting the new TVEngine to burn recorded TV shows? Since now the shows will not necessarily be in the same machine, things can get a little bit more complicated.

It should be supported right now, actually. When installing this plugin you have to configure where your temp folder is, and what you should do is place the temp folder on the local machine(client) instead of the remote machine (server). The only time it will read from the network is when its encoding the source file into the proper mpeg-2 format, which will be stored in the temp file. So by the time it gets to the actual dvd burning part, the iso file will be on the local client's hard disk.

Hi all,
After many many hours of work V3 of the Plugin is released! Woohoo!
Changes in this release
=================
Video conversion to DVD format now uses Mencoder from the MPlayer project. Its better at handling different video types and has progress messages....so...
Video conversion progress messages. Updates every 5% giving an estimate of when the video conversion will be complete
Can now import the current video/audio playlist and make this a burnlist
This will probably be the last release of MyBurner for MediaPortal v2.1 as some of the bits im working on will require the latest SVN builds.
These are the features im aware of and that have been asked for....
Need more progress messages for DVD burning.
Need to show file sizes as Time instead of as bytes. Have the code to do this, but will need tweaks to MediaPortal.
Need to find a way to select files better using a remote control. Aware that if you want to remove a file from the burnlist, you have to use the keyboard.
Audio level normalisation (low on the priority list as other bits more important)
Normal files burning. The code was originally there in the original plugin but it was buggy so I took it out. Will add it back in.

As I have already stated, I cant make it go wrong on v0.2.1.0. Download the new version and let me know if this is still failing.
