Hi,

I tried to get the My Burner plugin working with Release 0.2.2. It burns Data and also Vidoe but no Audio Files. It converts them to wav and after that says Finished. The files are definitely in the Temp folder. Is that a known bug...if yes is there any way to burn an audioCD (within MP)

Thanks a lot

Alex

I've followed the instructions, installed myburner support files and windows tool kit. Although, MyBurner config says that it successfully located the files it still shows "Some files are missing" error upon entering configuration and I don't see my burner in the config.

I'm using Vista and MP 0.2.2 latest SVN

Does anyone know if SATA writers are supported now? I am receiving the following error and was wondering if it is related to my SATA writer.

When configuring My Burner in config -> plugins with version 2.3.0 it required me to install the plugin and the "resource toolkit". Now it says "support files located sucessfully" in the My Burner plugin config. Without installing these additional files I could not get the plugin to even convert the files, now they convert, just not burn...I am one step closer.

I seem to have the same problem with version 2.2.0..

    MyBurner revisited

    Hi!

I tried to fix the most urgent issues of this plugin to get it at least into a useable state again.

    Please make sure:

    For CD-Burning:
    - You need Windows' "ImapiService" (won't work if you nLite'd it away during a strip down process)

    For DVD-Burning:
    - You should delete your old "Burner" subdirectory, go to the plugin config for the current link and redownload the needed files.
    - If you use an unknown media (like DVD+R in a DVD-R drive) you won't get an error message in MP (yet?)!

    For Video-DVD-Burning:
    - You should have a "C:\Windows\Fonts\" directory - no matter where your Windows is installed (maybe use partition links, SUBST, whatever).

This is not (and maybe has never been) the right plugin to showoff MediaPortal ;)

There might still be some issues left but please tell me whether is working again in general. If not I am happy to read log files :D

My issue (3 posts earlier) is resolved. Thank you.

Question: Is it possible to format a RW disc with this plugin? It does not look so. What are you guys using? Quit MP?

Removed old Burner directory and put the downloaded one. Still the same error message about missing components although everything is there. Also, I couldn't see my burner drive but could change the drive letter to the burner. When I tested plugin it worked from the MP but I didn't test all of the functionality of it.

    Currently:
    - a DVD-RW is always formatted in the first step.
    - a Data-CD will append the files as long as there is enough space

From a first sight it should be possible to add a manual format button without breaking other stuff.

Not quite specific but from what you say I might guess the CD-Burning component could not be initialised.
    - Do you use Vista?
    - Is you ImapiService possibly disabled?
