just adding that not all yahoo comics generate extra data in the link, for example, the boondocks works:

some comics tend to change their links once in a while... that's what happened with the peanuts comics.

this is the currently working XML:

Just to let you know, i fixed, added and improved some things in the plugin and released is as MPE1.. It should be on repository now available through MPEI.. Let me know if there is any problems

* added #MyDailyComics.Selected.Title, #MyDailyComics.Selected.Date, #MyDailyComics.Selected.LanguageName, #MyDailyComics.Selected.LanguageIcon GUI properties for skinners
* added control ID 102 (language icon/flag) - not mandatory so old skin files still work
* bunch of flags distributed with the plugin - thumbs folder
* comics.xml renamed to MyDailyComics and moved to config directory
* improved selected comic and date on plugin load
* added Croatian comic Matakovic (weekly)
* updated comic XML file with ISO language (country) codes
* changed focus OnPageLoad to be handled by the skin - <defaultcontrol>2</defaultcontrol>
* added some additional logic when downloading banners and comics (file name cleaning and try..catch blocks)
* improved images downloading / showing
* added setting of #currentmodule property
* version increased to 0.2.5.0

Already supported skins are Blue3, Blue3wide (in the package), Black & White 1080 (here) and Black Glass/Black Glass Nova (Tgx will probably publish the update in updates/nova updates thread), but even old skin files should work just fine..

Can't find it yet. Do you have a link to Repo? It does not show up in known extensions in MPEI either.

Got it working,

silent except for the updates! Did a streamedmp skin. Added the "menu" button to have something to hide/open the menu with.

Yeah It's tricky with hidden menu and selectbuttons
