True - cinefacts (unfortunately!) does not support IMDBids - but gives imho much better results for german catalogs ;-)
I usually do the first time scan with IMDB-OFDB, as this gives the IMDBid and allows for non interactive updates of e.g. ratings later - and I do updates with other scrapers if I feel I need or want it (for better images or other content).
If anybody knows good site supporting IMDBids, that would be imho best solution - as this could all be done with ONE scrape.
THe scrapers allow to pull info from different sites, if there is a lookup by ID possible (like it does for IMDB-OFDB) - but it does not, if it has to do a new search by name for the other site (it would mostly require another manual selection...)

How do you do that?
I mean: you first import your new films using IMDB-OFDB as scrapper. Then you want to update some fields of those new added films with cinefacts. How? With AMC? I wish there was a way that AMCu could "remember" the latest added entries in case you wanted to use another scraper.

Hey z3us - you should check out the latest dev release (1827) (see testing thread for access) - Guzzi has added an 'Age Added' field, so you could use AMCU Update tab to update fields in records added in the last x days. Not exactly what you want (AMCU remembers the entries added in last import) but maybe close enough?

How do you do that?
I mean: you first import your new films using IMDB-OFDB as scrapper. Then you want to update some fields of those new added films with cinefacts. How? With AMC? I wish there was a way that AMCu could "remember" the latest added entries in case you wanted to use another scraper.

Depends - when it's only few movies added, I mostly do "corrections" from inside MyFilms GUI "interactive".
If it's more, I update using Update Record with AMCupdater. But if the other scraper is a non IMDB-Id scraper, it might not update automatically and requires manual confirmation/selection again.
I use the settings "only update with non-empty data", so I don't get existing data overwritten with empty fields, in case the other website has no info for the update.
Re "last added movies" - instead of "Update all records" I restrict updates on movieID - but as Dadeo said, there is other ways to do that.

Latest test releases might not have last DB schema updates from MyFilms in AMCupdater ... will update that soon.
