    Hi Guys,

I have upgraded to the latest version of StreamedMP (supporting myFilms 6) and to MyFilms 6 and I finally decided to fiddle with the logos since I am tired with the dull logos that come by default (either streamedMP or MyFims not sure). I went to MyFilms Setup and under logos tab I selected instead of the MP logo pack the MyFilms logo Pack. Checking the rules bellow I see that they are associated with a nice looking set of logos. "Easy Peasy" I thought...saved configuration and exit. What a disappointment to see that nothing changed upon visiting Myfilms in Media Portal again. Looking at set up again and yes my change has been saved. Where did I go wrong?
Delete the cache folder of MP and try again

If you mean pressing the button "Delete Cache" in the MyFilms Setup - Logos Tab, I did and I get the message that the are no cached logos to delete.

    Hi totopsgr,
Skinners can provide their own MyFilms logo rules - we offer a so called "override" for this - thus: If a skin delivers them, they will be preferred, if not, the MyFilms logo definitions are used.
StreamedMP does provide that file. It is located in the skin folder and called "MyFilmsLogos.xml".
If you remove or rename it, the original MyFilms logo file will be used (in MePo data directory).

Thanks Guzzi! Worked like a charm

I have been tidying up my box-sets and adding collection covers for each. My question relates to the filename format for non-standard characters, like ":" how should these be named to be recognised? e.g. if box-set is "Mission: Impossible Collection", what should the filename for the .jpg cover be?

    hmmmm... have tried
    • "Mission- Impossible Collection"
    • "Mission_ Impossible Collection"
    • "Mission - Impossible Collection"
no dice. The movie covers work fine as they are hard-linked in the amc xml file, it's the manually named box set cover that seems to be the problem with characters that are not compatible with filenames. Any Ideas apart from the obvious (i.e. not using characters like ":" in the collection name)?

I checked and this is currently not possible - so for now you have to use Collection / BoxSet names with only valid characters.
    Will fix this.
Note: With future version you'll have the ability to load collection covers from GUI ;-) ...

V 6.1.0 includes support for certification logos by country. If your skin hasn't added them yet, you can add them to your skin media\logos folder and then select your country in Logos Setup (two digit country code should match the country subfolder name (e.g. au, br, gb, us etc) - note 'GB' is the official ISO country code for UK and used by MediaPortal language/strings files as well, so adopted by MyFilms. ;)

I have attached a zip of the certification logos for 11 countries I use for aMPed. These are the same as the MyFilms Logos pack, but without the black glass frame.

If your skin uses it's own custom logos rules, you will probably need to copy your country's certification logos to wherever your skin stores them (e.g. Media\certification in Titan Extended) and selecting a country in Logos setup won't have any effect.

If you have or create new certification logos for your country, please add them here! (Ideally same size/style as the attached images)
We will include them in the MyFilmsLogos pack for next release of MyFIlms. Thanks!

FYI MyFilms auto resets cache when you open Setup as of v 6.0 I think. So that button is kinda useless now ;) I updated docs in wiki and added an issue to Tracker to remove it in next release.
