I have been working on this for the last two weeks.
I wasn't aware of this till about two days ago but samuel337 made an excellent Online Content interface plugin for various things, which included an example with the US Yahoo launch.
My plugin is strictly for yahoo launch and not intended to outdo or undermine his plugin.

The features include:
Change bitrate: 56 through 768
Change Country: US, US in spanish, UK, Australia, Germany, Spain, Italy, France.

No setup, just place the .dll into your plugins/windows directory and drop the .xml file into your favorite skin directory as it's compatible with each one. Load up MP and My Launch should appear in My Home. (Make sure you have .asx added to movie extensions in configuration to have it work in fullscreen)

Just search for your favorite video or artist. Enjoy.

Get the plugin here:
CLICKY

More additions will come later on, it should serve it's purpose for the time being.

Nice job! I like it a lot! Clean and simple!

One question: How can I stretch the fullscreen video to fill the entire screen? Pressing 'S' doesn't do the trick for me!

Lyxalig> it's most probably due to your setup, try removing .asx from your movie extensions. You should be able to play videos then but without fullscreen capabilities.

    Black screen on mylaunch plugin

    Hi there

Downloaded your mylaunch plugin an v impressed with it. After a couple of videos playing fine I seem to get a black screen when I chose another (sound works fine though) also how do i get a reduced picture size, it has always been full screen for me with or without .asx checked.

    Thanks

    hey juvinious,

great work man.. likes a lot. everything worked fine except couldn't get the fullscreen deally like above.. so went ahead and added .asx to movie extensions. now when i click on one of the search results, nothing happens.. just sits there..

also, when you go back during the middle of a clip, it doesn't keep the search results up in the menu.. would be nice to have that stay there..

    Update:

For somereason it "worked" this time. Added .asx and could click on search result and began playing video. I can get into fullscreen with X but it just ends up being the original video res with black sorrounding it. How can the video itself get put to fullscreen as well.. Also, what did you mean by "A/R" up a few posts? Couldn't figure that out  ..

    Thanks again..
