My Lyrics 1.5.5.0 and 1.6.1.0 (updated 29-05-2011) (2 Viewers)

Hey guys, i'm so sorry to say i don't get it.
It's not only the version string... the sources on googlecode are by year 2010.
In Visual Studio there are references to "MediaPortal.Core, MediaPortal.Utilities and MediaPortal.UI".
I've found those dlls (only in the download, not in MediaPortal programfiles) and have been able to compile, but this seems to be to outdated to work nowadays.

I'm not a developer and so don't know what to do in this case.

this can be right since the plugin is from 2010. First post also from 2010..

But download page says 2011: http://code.google.com/p/mpmylyrics/downloads/list
So I guess you are right.

The plugin itself seems to work fine, but only a couple of the sites seem to work.

"Lyrics onDemand" (only a few lines on some songs)
"Lyrics 007" (html code before lyrics)
"LRCfinder" doesn't find anything on the numerous songs I've tried it on.
"Hot Lyrics" seems to be the only site that worked consistently.

I've disabled everything but "hot lyrics" in settings so now it works fine.

Are you sure this worked on MP 1.2.x?

EDIT:
I just tested the old MyLyrics made for MP 1.2.x on MP 1.2.1 and there is also HTML code before the lyrics on "Lyrics 007" so I think this version just works fine.

@Holzi i think LRCFinder worked but it did not find very much...
