You're probably right, I most likely got confused between the two.

MovingPictures also installs NLog so that's probably why the previous installer worked for most people before you including it .

I can't recall if MovingPictures merges the dll into MovingPictures.dll, if not, you may need to be careful how you handle uninstalls. If MPEI installer does not support Shared Dlls/Permanent DLLs then you might uninstall it even though another plugin is still using it.

I would really love to hear statistics of running a full batch from configuration (including marked files).

Yes, that's great. It shows about 70% hit. Also it shows that the new implemented sites have most hits

But I can't get running the new Version 1.8.0 (by the way: 1.7.3 worked good...)
When I play a music file and than try to call the lyrics MediaPortal crashes - I mean the music keeps on playing but I only see the "background" of myLyrics and MP doesn't react anymore .

I added Log's: All I can see there is that music starts playing and after init of MyLyrics.GUIMyLyrics one line is repeating and repeating and repeating....

Couldn't find anything in logs. MyLyrics still don't have a log when running from GUI, only from configuration.
Can you add a screenshot of the crash window?
Also, when you open configuration, are you able to run batch search?

Hi Yaov - Thanks for your quick answer.
There is no special information about the crash - I only see in the task manager that MP doesn't react anymore. The music keeps on playing until the end of the track but during this time MP doesn't react - after the playback MP crashes...

Normally I don't unse the database (too many Mp3 Files) but for testing I tried to run batch search and I was able to run it without any error...

MyLyrics gets the music file properties (artist/title/id3tag stuff/etc.) from MediaPortal. If a file is not in the database, it's possible that this data is not passed to the plugin. However, there's no reason to crash MP, and this is something I would really like to dig into. Is there a crash popup window that you can capture and upload? Can you upload logs? Anyway, I will try to reproduce this myself...

Regarding your question, no, MyLyrics currently works only on database.
You should look for "MPTagThat" (by @hwahrmann). AFAIK, it uses MyLyrics DLLs, but probably not the latest...
