There is a bug with multipart movies withe 4.5 version. sorry. However, you can try :
1) name your movie files xxxx-cd1.avi xxxx-cd2.avi. In that case, your AMC database point only on the first avi file (xxxx-cd1), theplugin'll find all others files
2) put in your AMC field all movie files separated by a semi column (bug in the 4.5 version- corrected in next version)
3) create a playlist (file with m3u extension) and put in it the names of your movie files. In AMC point on the playlist file

Hello,

I'm a new MP/MyFilms user, just switching from MCE/My Movies 2. I seem to be having the same issue, I've installed:

Mediaportal 1.0.0.0 RC1
MyFilms 4.5 SVN

I've moved my My Movies 2 database to ANT and exported the XML, in Myfilms I've pointed the config to the XML file and set to URL and Catalog Type to ANT Movie Catalog. Unfortunatly I can get my films playing in MP, all the other info is there and coevers etc but selecting a film justs asks me to insert a disc. My movies are spread over 3 disks with each movie in its own folder, from what I've read this is most likely the problem. Is there something I am missing, or is it just not possible to have it work like that?

Any advice greatly appreciated, I'm really liking MP so far.

Seem to have fixed it now, seems you have to point to the actual movie files unlike mymovies2 where you just point to the folder. Guess I've got an afternoon of cut and pasting ahead of me

UnZip AMCUpdater to where?

1. Does anyone know where I unzip AMCUpdater too?
2. Is there a certain place it is suppose to go?
It does not install itself and I cannot find any documentation on where to put it.

Issue with Release Version: 1.0.0.0 RC1 and MyFilms

I have been having the same problems since i upgraded to Version: 1.0.0.0 RC1.
I was working perfectly Ok, with the older version.

Have anyone found a solution to this problem as yet?

With that version you MUST use the SVN version of MyFilms Do You ?

Is this bug solved in 4.5 SVN?
