I currently have 297 Music Folders and find that the UI is very slugging when transitioning to the next page in any view! Im not using a database view, I use icons and big icons for my presentation with album art coming from a folder.jpg in every folder.</p><p></p><p>Is this a limitation with Media Portal I, I have tested this on several PCs and is not very good. I have the same list in my XBOX using XBMC and its silky smooth. I also tried the UNIX version and was also silky smooth.</p><p></p><p>Is this something known and will be resolved? As you can see my Hardware is very fast relative to the xbox's. I can do some performance counters in perfmon if that will help the developers. I suspect CPU usage is very high when doing this but have not confirmed on my main HTPC only my development box.</p><p></p><p>I have tested using xface and resolve skins to rule the skins out.
