The Add feature in the setup window lets you manually enter in any valid rss podcasts that you want to listen to or watch. Try these to make sure it's working for you:
Adam Curry: Daily Source Code
http://radio.weblogs.com/0001014/categories/dailySourceCode/rss.xml
NPR: Technology
http://www.npr.org/rss/podcast.php?id=1019
If you want to write your own RSS feed you can read more about it here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_feed
You can also add in OPML feeds which are listings of many RSS feeds. Here is one for example:
http://share.opml.org/opml/topPodcasts.opml
After you add an OPML feed you can browse through it from withing MediaPortal using the "Add PodCast" button insied the plugin. Then you can clieng on any of the RSS feeds to add them into My PodCasts.
The results of all this adding is stored in an XML file called MyPodCasts.Feeds.opml.xml that sits in the \Feeds folder under Meiaportal. If you take a look at it you will see its actually an OPML file with all your selected RSS feeds in it.
