Thanks madsrh, it's really my fault that it's not been included. I wanted to clean up the code and fix a few things before releasing the source but its taken me way too long. With your kind words of encouragement I'm going to go ahead and submit the source code...assuming I can figure out where/how to send it. Then they might include it in the next release?

I know very little about video formats but I think some avi formats will not play until you have the whole file pulled down so they are bad for streaming. When I open these with WMP10 they just sit there "Connecting...".
I picked the smallest one I could find (~2MB) and it does work in WMP10 if you wait for it. It's the 2nd to the last post in the rss feed from lybsyn called Microshaft Mini.

I don't know if this is a true limitation of the xvid format or just something evil from microsoft but if you cannot get them to work well in WMP10 they are probably not going to do well in MP.
Some RSS readers download the content for you behind the scenes and then play after its downloaded. I could add that as an option.

The old version uses the PlayVideoStream method which still has this problem.

i am new to the whole mp software, but i recently installed it and now trying to use your plugin.
But i have a very simple question
i am trying to add a content rss feed to 'My torrents', but i cant seem to get it to work, maybe i am doing something really wrong here, but i get the following error when i press the add button :
The 'table'start tag on line 8 does not match the end tag of 'head' line 19, position 3.
Maybe if you can give me the name of the XML file that has to be created for my-torrents Content feed rss, so i can add them manualy in the xml-file.
or maybe i wrote the syntax wrong, its just a simple http:// url.
hope you can help me with this.
btw, i downloaded your latest version and i also have the latest version of mp. (never had any older versions).
