I'll look over the channel list again when I get a chance, I might change a few things around that might help you out.

Spooky, mencoder should show up in the process list if its using the encoder so there could be an issue.

brunoh I'll check but I don't think _ should be an issue.

Though I can't check at the moment I think the query string could be case sensitive so you might need "Group", if it is i'll change that.

Finally I haven't added the final touches to get ffmpeg working yet, a small tweak to the timeshifting module and it should work (though not tested). I'll update that later when I get a chance also.

Also ffmpeg shouldn't go into the wwwroot folder, it should go into the transcoder folder \transcoder\ffmpeg\ etc. as with mencoder.

Anyway i'll look at it later.

did the open log file location not open that folder??

ok, I will keep on testing...
I copied a simple text file (test.txt) into wwwroot folder.
Then: http://127.0.0.1:8080/Tvserver/test.txt
But the same, only an empty page, so I think there must be a problem with the webserver

Did you configured Windows Firewall correctly? It can be the problem, however I don't think so...

Btw, my MediaPortal setup stopped working, so I can't test anything now.

PS: Does anybody know howto unsubscribe from the 'there has somebody posted' mails? The links aren't working.

Just found this plug-in who basically does the same thing as you are.

Windows Firewall is off, other Webserver on other ports, working fine.
Waiting for next Tvstream release

just tested it without success, the ffmpeg process is even not shon in the task manager.

is it possible that StreamTV doesn`t work with the latest Beta of MP?

Because I tried it on another PC with Win7, but 32bit OS, but with the same result, only empty page.
I checked everything 100 times, but with no success..

I just try the latest tvstream with the patch. Same problem as vel_tins. I'm using Windows 7 32-bit and all directories is correct. When pointing to the rss, nothing come out with or without "/" . Mediaportal is 1.1.0 beta. Before the patch, with "/" at the back, tvserver service will crash and stop. No errors in the log that is related to TVStream.

Above symptom is using Firefox. IE 8 give an Error 404 Page cannot be found. Turning on and off firewall give the same error.

another idea..
maybe an issue with "non english version" of Windows?
In my case "program files" is named "Programme"
