My SQL server error on installation (1 Viewer)

At this point I'm going to say thank you for your help but I might just stick with Windows Media Centre as it's too difficult to install this product.

We always try to convice the possible new adepts.

The MySQL Installation normally works correctly. In case you would like to give it a last go you should

• Uninstall MediaPortal
• Uninstall MySQL using the Windows functionality
• Delete any remaining directory traces on your harddisk that relate to MySQL
• Run a tool such CCleaner to remove obsolete registry entries
• (Last not least, but that may be some work, search the registry manually and delete ever hit of MySQL)

Then try a last time...
