Un-installed MP
Deleted MP Folder
Restart Windows
Re-installed NVidia Set up disk with the DualTV Decodec again
Installed MP 0.2.2.0
Install Last SVN 01-08-2007 1959 Rev 12573
Ran Thru the Config Wiz
Debug Logging Enabled
Set up tV Section only

This is what I have found out... Maybe this will Help...
IF I click on my tv (w/auto tv on set to off) I can browse around go to the tVGuide section, exit out screen by screen to the Home screen.... NO Crashes ( using the Back Button on both the remote and the drop down tool bar up top)

Now start over... Click My tV, Turn on TV, exit = Crash,
Run MP again >My tV > tV on > Full Screen > Back button out (no Crash) > Back Button out again ---- Yep Crash

At one point during testing i got a message window that said "was i sure i wanted to exit" TV playing in the back ground..... Couldn't get that to happen again...

Could the TV off Command or something not be turning off?

Attached are the log files....

Roy, Thank you very much for the help...

Log Files attached..

    Hi,
So it seems to only happen when you exit from MyTV Home (did you stop the TV before exit, if you didn't what happens if you turn TV off before exit to Main screen?).
I can't see any errors in the latest log, so if it happens there something weird it's going on. Can you post the error from (if there is any & it's of the type "MediaPortal exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" or similar) "Computer Management -> Event Viewer (Application or System)"?

Other then that i'm out off things to try now, so hope someone else can help out too :)

    Regards
    Roy

    Hi,
Yup got the log, the crash occur in module: faulting module quartz.dll. Have seen this before but don't remember the solution,

    Some quests:
Have you updated everything on windows update?
Have you installed some codecs pack?
Which driver for your graphic card do you use?

    Regards
    Roy

    Roy,

I have updated everything on the Windows XP side of things. Uninstalled .net framework 2.0 and reinstalled, still crashes

Not to sure about the Codecs pack, Beside the NVIDIA, DualTV and Pure Video codecs and the two that are installed by MP, Then no i haven't installed any additional codecs packs.

The Drives for the Video Card NVIDIA 10/22/06 Ver.6.14.10.9371 I have update the drives from the EVGA website..

Question for ya, I posted on the Pastebin site what is that going to do now...?

Thanks again for all your help...

    Hi,
The pastebin we don't need now since we know the crash it's in a dll, related to graphic card, you can as a test try to lower the hardware acceleration for your graphic card & test again or download the latest drivers from nvidia's homepage.

    Regards
    Roy
