(Single seat, currently running SVN 24102)
After going to beta 1 I've had some irrational tv crashes/hangs and finally decided to reinstall the tv server as i suspected its database to be corrupt. Used the "mid" alternative for uninstall (erasing database and settings), reinstalled and configured without a problem. The server install seems ok, previewing channels inside configuration works fine and stream settings appear to be the same as before reinstall.
Client installation was left untouched. But when I restarted the MP client after server reinstall, there was no choice/menu for My TV at the home page anymore and no reference to tv/television in the configuration either. No error messages whatsoever, the program suddenly just looks like it has no tv section at all. No choice for TV under window plugins in configuration. The client does not start the tv server during startup. I've tried starting the tv server manually before client startup - no difference.
I really don't want to reinstall the client. Are there any settings I'm missing, causing the client not to search for the tv server at all? Anything else, some point in the tv server config?
