    Hi FlipGer,

    I will try your test procedure tomorrow and see if I can duplicate the behaviour. I agree with you that cable:false shouldn't be occurring.

    Kind regards,
    Michel

    Hi,

    Finally some free time off (and a free HTPC as well ;) ) to test this scenario. This is what I did:

    - Configured both my tuners to Country=Germany and Input=Cable (card1=prio10, card2=prio1)
    - Changed one of my channels to channel=22, freq=0, country=default (Germany) and standard=default (PAL_B).
    - Entered the TVGuide and scheduled two overlapping recordings on that channel

    Please note that I did not start live TV on this channel before the recordings kicked in! So graph building and timeshifting/recording were all initiated by the recorder, not by starting to view a channel.

    This is what happened:
    First recording on card1 said:
    14-4-2006 19:27:36 SinkGraph:TuneChannel() tune to channel:22 country:49 standard:None name:confused:BS 6
    14-4-2006 19:27:36 Twinhan: check for twinhan driver
    14-4-2006 19:27:36 SinkGraph:TuneChannel() tuningspace:0 country:49 tv standard:None cable:False
    14-4-2006 19:27:36 SinkGraph:TuneChannel() tuned to channel:22 county:49 freq:480,0625 MHz. tvformat:pAL_B signal:confused:ignalPresent
    Second recording on card2 said:
    14-4-2006 20:25:34 SinkGraph:TuneChannel() tune to channel:22 country:49 standard:None name:confused:BS 6
    14-4-2006 20:25:34 Twinhan: check for twinhan driver
    14-4-2006 20:25:34 SinkGraph:TuneChannel() tuningspace:0 country:49 tv standard:None cable:True
    14-4-2006 20:25:35 SinkGraph:TuneChannel() tuned to channel:22 county:49 freq:480,0625 MHz. tvformat:pAL_B signal:confused:ignalPresent
    So, for me the first recording has Cable:False, and the second has Cable:True. Another thing I notice is that both recordings use the same frequency, only for me this somehow is 480,0625MHz.

    Next thing I tried is just starting to view this channel, which results in the following:
    View TV said:
    14-4-2006 20:32:41 SinkGraph:TuneChannel() tune to channel:22 country:49 standard:None name:confused:BS 6
    14-4-2006 20:32:41 Twinhan: check for twinhan driver
    14-4-2006 20:32:41 SinkGraph:TuneChannel() tuningspace:0 country:49 tv standard:None cable:False
    14-4-2006 20:32:41 SinkGraph:TuneChannel() tuned to channel:22 county:49 freq:480,0625 MHz. tvformat:pAL_B signal:confused:ignalPresent
    So, somehow it seems that channel (or card1) is now "stuck" on Cable:False, but either way the frequency is the same.

    I tried all this again but then with a newly created channel. This time Cable was set to true for the first recording (card1) and false for the second one (card2), but again both recordings were tuned to the same frequency.

    To make a long story short: I can't relate the Cable:False to the change in frequency. If someone sees any logic in everything else I'm seeing here please enlighten me! :)

    Kind regards,
    Michel

    Hi,

    back from easter vacation. :)

    Issue still present with mediaportal-svn-04-18-2006--10-31.rar
    Second card cable:false => wrong frequency.

    @Michel: Thanks for testing. Interresting result. Both tune the same frequency, but both the wrong!
    Cable channel 22 should be 189,3125 MHz
    Antenna channel 22 should be 479,25 MHz

    Sure you deleted your old frequency settings. ;) Maybe a look into the DB with SQLLight Browser helps?

    Flip.

    has this been implemented into the svn yet ?

    i just got this:

    #
    4/29/2006 7:00:53 PM SinkGraph:TuneChannel() tuningspace:0 country:1 tv standard:None cable:False
    #
    4/29/2006 7:00:53 PM SinkGraph:TuneChannel() tuned to channel:47 county:1 freq:669.25 MHz. tvformat:NTSC_M signal:NoSignal
    #
    4/29/2006 7:00:53 PM FixCrossbarRouting: use tuner:True use cvbs#1:False use cvbs#2:False use svhs:False use rgb:False

    It happened after Mp crashed whhile recording. I started it back up again and the recording icon was visable. I pressed the TV button on myremote and got nothing but static. posted the full log to http://mp.pastebin.com/689450
