My Video menu opens My Music (1 Viewer)

Hi, the same happened to me now, I thought I was going crazy, lucky for me I found this post.

The values:
<entry name="startWindow">25</entry>
<entry name="startview">135</entry>

get me to Videos\Genres

If I want to enter Videos as I used to be I need "startWindow" to be 6.

Is there some kind of "Master" MediaPortal.xml to download so I can compare and check for errors?

No, no master MediaPortal.xml. You can check the startWindow value against the window IDs in the wiki -->here<-- though if you want.

Thanks, looks good, maybe I'll read some more for minimal knowledge.

One question please, in case of chaos, is there anything I can do to reset MePo to some initial values, reinstalling over doesn't do it, and I was afraid of uninstall and reinstall because of the Movies ans Tv series plugins. took me a very long time to arrange the media data.

Yes, it's a known bug and can be easily created like (do not try it ):

1. Go to My videos and switch to any database view (genre, years, title..)
2. Press Home
4. Go to music to any database view (ie. Albums)
5. Press back, back you will end up in Actors view
6. Go back
7. Try to enter My Videos -> you will end in Music database view

After that MyVideos is not accessible anymore. Only cure is to delete some entries in MP Configuration.xml (already explained here)
