MY Videos rework for MP 1.3.0 (1 Viewer)

hello Deda,
I understand your reasoning. currently version seems stable, I think the install on my htpc, to try on an older computer (Sempron 2800 +)
As I have said, the point which remain to be done (for my use) are by priority
1- Management of miniatures as described above (for slower scroll )
2- Nfo read on folder when "each movie in own folder" is checked
3- Support of fanart with reading nfos
4- The addition of information directly read the nfo movies (I try and I gave up, too complicated ...)

I hope that all this will be added in MP2. For my part I get to the end of my requests, and I joined woozy for the "WELL DONE GUYS."

Hi Deda,

I've found a very minor scrapper issue regarding certification/ rating.

"The Matrix" fails to display the certification logo because it scrapes "15 (re-rating) (2006)" rather than just 15.

This is most informative and has no impact on the new "search by certification" so it doesn't really hurt (unless you're a logo freak ) and it probably only effects a very small number of titles but I thought I'd bring it to you attention anyway.

If it's by design, just ignore me .

On this I can't help. Try to see if there is something in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\Skin FanArt\Scraper . Fanart are visible if there is image with name which is similar to selected item or if it is exactly as movieId from videodatabase.

Ok, update your scripts from config or in GUI and try to refresh The Matrix, should be ok now (at least for UK )

about the bug before, have been corrected

- File stacked with Cdx
When the films are stacked, as "movie cdx.avi". I have a file movie.nfo / movie.tbn / movie-fanart.jpg
MEPO not find the nfo (normal) or poster (too normal)
it is possible to add a function to search for a file. NFO, without extensions stacking (cdx / partx / ...)? (If it's a lot of work, I'll check with the manager)

- In following the above: import of fanart bug (bug fanart in the text before)
With "Movie cdx.avi" / "movie cdx.nfo" (modified by me) / "movie-fanart.jpg"
the movie is imported, but the fanart is imported with the wrong ID (ID = 0) so I have a file {0} 0. jpg in "movie scrapers" and this is loaded by default for all movie with nfo file ( are not in database)
Ps: it can not be an alternative to load a fanart without importing it?

1. when information is not existent, it there's "unknown" wrote, please nothing must be indicated in the database. because it's not translated, and may allow the following function:
can you add a function "find the missing information" in "refresh" in video information?

add an option "refresh with NFO" and "refresh with the scraper"
PS: in addition to the above function

3. lack of updating the NFO, (can be automatic), but without completely rewriting (only update the sections)

GUI: I like you can update the actors without updating the movie!
GUI: I saw the poster for change but not the fanart.

Overall everything works, then you start to sew, and as you can see I try to go beyond my use. lol

Hehe, yes I completely forgot to cut stack extensions . OK will be fixed it's not a problem.

What I can do is to copy FA on place where it should be (but you will need to wait some time for FA handler plugin rescan that place to be visible in MP) but after when movie is scanned you can have mess in that place with the same fanart and different names.

Actually not anymore, I fixed that, but will check if there is a problem, dunno for stacked files (as I wrote I completely forgot that )

Nope, all or nothing or you can yourself write movie scrapper which will try to load existing movie info by movieId and check every database field for missing stuff (if you can guess also what is missing by string compare..)

To much work and skin design changes, if you want to do that delete movie in database view (it will not delete video file) and rescan in share view on file.

Sorry, but this will not be done. Mp creates nfo for it's own purposes as backup. I can rename file so that it will not overwrite existing nfo but then MP will read only MP nfo.

One thing I do not understand really , if you really depend on nfo file then why you not switch to MyFilms which supports all you need?

simply because I do not run additional plug-ins, and that my database is always changing ... Myvidéos is quite sufficient for my use, and if I remember right, it manages a database from another program: AMC ... and you did a good job, it would be stupid not to take advantage

I remember right, it manages a database from another program

it was some ancient catalog program for DVDs which is totally obsolete today. I removed that against nfo.

I thought just load it into memory.

Nice trick but this will not work .

As I said, only l I can do is to copy file with specified name to special place (or user can do it manually if like ). No left or right or up or down. Only that will work and nothing else.
If you want some special function in FA handler you need to ask that in FA part of the forum. If cul8er will found it useful and will need something from MP he will contact us internally to see if something can be done.

Nope, scraping is done by scrape script and I get only final result.
