mydigiguide rejecting my IP (1 Viewer)

Guys,

Just a heads up, mydigiguide has blocked my IP, I get a 403 return error: -

You are not authorized to view this page
The Web server you are attempting to reach has a list of IP addresses that are not allowed to access the Web site, and the IP address of your browsing computer is on this list.

Please try the following:

Contact the Web site administrator if you believe you should be able to view this directory or page.
HTTP Error 403.6 - Forbidden: IP address of the client has been rejected.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

I was grabbing all my channel information from mydigiguide, I have got round the issue but I'm going to reduce the number of channels I grab.

Hi Quake505, I noticed MyDigiGuide appeared to block me yesterday during the day - I was trying out a programme to get all the latest channels MyDigiguide supports and update the 2-www_mydigiguide_com.xml file and change the Channles.xml (including additional channels) file to help with Automapping in WebEPG. I started to get errors in the tv.log indicating no listings and checked a couple of the web pages and got similar errors from memory. But I left my programme to run early morning (around 6a.m.) and checked again this morning and all seems to work OK with no errors getting data from MyDigiGuides web pages... Maybe there is a daily limit for individual IP's on their server or maintenance work going on, will keep one eye open for the next day or so.

Are you still locked out?

Hi yourmumquake (love the name), sorry for the late reply but I've been on my hols, I don't know, I got round the issue by using a proxy but because I've had my router off for a week the DHCP server has released my old IP address and gave me a new one, both the proxy and the new IP address work.

I have also updated the grabber to include the season and ep, is this what you did?

Here are the changes I have made: -

Because the grabber can only grab 10 days because the day format is hex in the web address not dec (fails when it uses '10' instead of 'A')

Please note that #EPISODE and #SEASON need to be the other way round for MP tvservice import, I use it this way because I use 4therecord.

Glad you got it sorted, one way or the other!

I don’ use 4therecord (yet!) and have not made any ‘detailed’ grabber changes (yet!). But note I get a template error, there appears to always be a few programs less than listed. Once I have completed sorting out new channels being added to both RadioTimes and MyDigiGuide, I’ll take a closer look at these ‘template’ errors.

In a nut shell, I have written a program to check both RadioTime and MydigiGuide web sites for new channels they are listing and modify the MP XML files to include these new channels, allowing WebEPG to map and then grab the programs details.

Not sure I follow your logic on 10 days though, I set it to 14 days and checking the tv.log see (dt=) 0 to 13 days worth of programmes as follows (I’ve deleted many lines of program info to save on amount of data):
