MYHD MDP-130 Tuner Card Can it work? (1 Viewer)

Can the MYHD MDP-130 work with MediaPortal? I have been looking for a media center software that would work with this card and have had no luck. Can someone confirm if this card is compatible with this software or not. If it doesn't any suggestions?

Someone with the SDK would have to develop support for it.

You need to get the SDK then develop a solution to use it in MediaPortal.

More the other way around. The developer of that program would need to make a plugin for it to integrate into MediaPortal.

@DMAN - Would you mind pointing me to material that document the TVE side for making such an integration.

@Paranoid - I looked at the plugin you reference, but I'm not immediately seeing a way to use that to integrate the myHD card. Can you elaborate?

For the card itself have a look at the SS2 code as an example for WDM based integration.
My understanding is that the MDP-130 card is hardware decoding and output so you'd need to bypass that to suit MediaPortal and deliver the raw transport stream from the MDP-130 source filters.

Have a look at the conflicts managers plugin as well.
