MyMail plugin (receive eMails within MediaPortal) (1 Viewer)

Hi Agree,
tried to test your mail plugin (which would be really nice to have) but guess I did something wrong.
So this is what I did:
1. went to configure -> enabled mail -> setup an pop account
2. tried to start MyMail and realized I was missing the dll
3. went to sourceforge and downloaded the MyMailPlugin.dll (date 20.09.04 size 57344Bytes
4. tried again

No I found the following:
1. I have a scrolling text in home that is telling me that I have new mail.
2. When trying to goto MyMail nothing happens. I can still go anywhere else, just not to MyMail (which is not translated to german by the way :wink: )

What do I do wrong? I am using MCE skin.

Hi!

what version of mp u are use?

I think u need 2 download not just only the dll then the complete archive since there are required files in there.

do you plan to intigrate support of attached Pictures and Sounds.

I would like to let my fax and my answering machine send emails to my MP so that i could read the faxes and hear my messages over MP

hi. yeah, pictures and sounds may be no problem, but for now, i'm very busy with making dvb-s work in mp. but, the dev on mail-plugin goes on for sure, but without implementing new features yet.

I got one problem with the plugin.

When i klick on "Check Mail" i always get the last Mail i send to the account which is checked by MP (i always deleted this mail befor).

no need to.. just download the specialrelease from this night.. its in there

just did..
but now I don't even have a MyMail entry in home screen (yes, I checked the option in plugins on configuration ) neither the message saying "I have new mail".
