MyPictures share browsing patch (1 Viewer)

Takes a little bit of time but thumbnail generation in Mediaportal is slow. Once its done should be easy to navigate. Worked for me

Yes I agree, thumbnailing is realy slow. 2 hours gone and only 66% done......

But if afterwards browsing is fast, it is worth it...

For me there is no waiting for list to load anymore and no lag whatsoever. I am not using a NAS just a network shared drive. I have around 2Gb worth. Let me know how performance goes for you.



FYI. The patch made it into SVN. You should see it officially in the release 1.1 of MP

I hate to say this... but it's still not working. I've tried it on my two systems, both being Vista X64.

Any ideas?

what about the log file for configuration tool? The error msg you have gives me zero information
