It makes sense then. StreamedMP skin files are very outdated.
Not sure I can uptade them fast.

Tried to get this working again after not using it for a long time. First upgraded to the version 0.80 from this post https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...updated-13-10-2012.56482/page-79#post-1009927 , using default wide skin for testing. The following observations using mp1.5.0:

• interaction with utorrent works, i can see torrents downloading etc
• searching torrents doesnt work anymore, i think for all sites because URLs to torrent files have been changed:
  • kickasstorrents: refers to kat.ph but site has moved to http://kickass.to/ , thus doesnt work anymore
  • HDBitsSearch: throws the following error (JIT debugging dialogue): System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

  • Public HD comes with results, but when trying to download torrent files i get a messagebox in mediaportal ' ERROR an unknown error has occurred'. From the logs:

    Message ---
    The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.

    . I checked the site, and it seems that it redirects through http://istoretor.com/ nowadays
  • Mininova behaves the same as PublicHD, i checked and it uses URLs like http://www.mininova.org/tor/13261043 nowadays, instead of URLSlike http://www.mininova.org/get/13200901/0
  • MPtvseries uses Kat.ph, so same problem as kickasstorrents
  • ThePirateBay doesn't give any results because it uses 'thepiratebay.se' which is blocked by my provider. ' piratebay.com' does work here (but that'll depend on the ISP)
  • Demonoid doesn't give any results. Don't know which URL it uses, log doesn't give me any info on that:

• SceneHd.org: i don't have account there, so it redirects to login page
• chdbits.org: same as SceneHd.org
  
• BTN: http://broadcasthe.net/ : same as SceneHd.org
• Bitsoup: redirects to https://www.bitsoup.me/, also needs login which i don't have
• Opensharing: doesn't give results, in webbrowser the URL that mp-torrents uses gives back ' unknown local index 'name' in search request' (besides that, my russian is really rusty )
• Rutor: doesn't give results, in webbrowser the URL that mp-torrents uses does give results, so i don't see why (maybe because its russian?)

Would it be usefull if i'd try to fix things using this guide (from 2010) . Or would that be a waste of time...

So I guess I'll be the one to ask if the plugin works with 1.7 pre release? Since most(all?) of the built in search sites appear DOA how do we go about adding new ones? I have utorrent downloading shows and I'd like to be able to add shows that got missed...etc..... thanks for making MP even better.
