MyTVSeries - Plugin that organizes TV Video Files (3 Viewers)

Should I implement an automatic file organizer to move and rename files?

This is a great plugin. Here are a couple of things I would like to see.

1. Refresh and import from MP. I keep needing to exit MP and start the setup program. This is the only thing I need to do it for.
2. An "ignore this one" button when a file is not found on tv.com. I end up with movies and other files in the same directories sometimes.

Other than that I think this is one of the best plugins for MP I have seen in ages. (This and the personal EPG plugin).

Keep up the good work.
Thanks.

Sorry for not posting anything for a while, but I have been really busy.

I have posted new binaries here

I have completed a simpler look in the Configuration GUI so that it can work on almost every screen resolution. I still have alot more to do.
    - Auto refresh of tree after import (in the mean time press the refresh button)
    - Better way to modify information (more error checking of user input and nicer imput methods)
    - auto selection of episode image from video frame
    - option to auto rename video filenames
    - etc....

The setup GUI also save the episode images in the following nameing convention: <Series Name> - season x episode - episode title. This way, you won't have to relink all of the images when you delete the database.

I have started to create a GUI control to display the series button as seen in the previous screenshots. Although you can play AVI videos, this Plugin is not very useable at this time.

PS: If you are using a previous version of this plugin, please backup any files that will be overwritten.... just in case you want to revert back. Also you will need to start this version with a clean database.

Great idea.... never thought about it (as i keep my movies seperate). Will do after I get the GUI in MP functional.

    Thanks for the imput

    Hi, me again.
I have a small problem with the skin file in the latest binary:

I placed the media files stright into the media directory, they do not need a seperate folder do they?
BTW this happens with the latest cvs as well.

I downloaded 20a today to try this kick ass plugin out... The problem is when I go into configuration and click on plugin, it crashes. When I click on the skin to change it to MCE and then click ok at the bottem, it crashes.

I copied over plugins and skin directory to the root of MP, is there something I am missing?

    I am running RC2, with 2-10-06 CVS.

I then went back into those directories and removed the files that I copied over, and then everything was back to normal. Any thoughts on this one?

In the dialog box after the crash it ends on this.

    MyTVSeries
    Assembly Version: 1.0.0.0
    Win32 Version: 1.0.0.0
    CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files/MediaPortal/plugins/windows/MyTVSeries.dll

Maybe it's the last plugin loading... or where the crash is and that is were it is stopping.

Brocklander is going to have a look at the skinning files - when Wee's ready for it....
