MyTVSeries - Plugin that organizes TV Video Files (2 Viewers)

Should I implement an automatic file organizer to move and rename files?

Yes - I was just ready to try it out when the tv.com site changed its format - made me sick!

I sure am ready to made it happen on my computer.

    hello,

i must not be getting this cause ive been fighting to figure out how to set up the parsing to pick up all my episode info.

All my TV show files are set up ina series folder, seperated by season folders then as so:

    S##E## - Episode Title.avi

    so pretty much like this:

    \Series\Season #\S##E## - Episode Title.avi

    per example:

    \Lost\Season 2\S02E18 - Dave.avi

I've tried messing around with the parsing, like

    (S)(<season>[0-9]{1,2})(E)(<episode>[0-9]{1,2})(( |)(-( |)|))(<title>[^$]*)

but no configuration worked for me. Could you please tell me how to set it up? It would greatly be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

If you read the whole thread you can see that the current version does not parse the directory structure... Only the filename.

So you need to have Seriesname, Season and Episode in the filename.

kk, i can change the dir structure, but what let's say i want to set it up as this:

    Series - S##E## - Episode Title.avi

    how would i parse this?

    (<series>[^$]*)((|)(-(|)|))S(<season>[0-9]{1,2})E(<episode>[0-9]{1,2})(( |)(-( |)|))(<title>[^$]*)

its the whole codes i don't get lol
