MyTVSeries - Plugin that organizes TV Video Files (4 Viewers)

Should I implement an automatic file organizer to move and rename files?

This shows up when I try to add "Ren and Stimpy".
Code:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
   at WindowPlugins.GUITVSeries.ImportVideo.DownloadSeriesInfo(MatchingSeries match)
   at WindowPlugins.GUITVSeries.ImportVideo.Start()

Futhermore the "Configuration"-tab doesn't work. When I press it the window becomes blank, ie. nothing is there?

Thanks for a great plug-in!

mzemina: Re-coding won't be required - That's exactly why I'm building it. The site's templates may need to be tweaked though. That's pretty easy to do and could be done by anyone with html knowledge.

Cinetix: Multilingual support: The new sgml engine will allow for multiple search sources (including multiple languages). Once it's working correctly for english I'll include some samples for configuring the engine for this.

The NullReferenceException you're getting will be solved in the next release. As for the configuration tab. That hasn't been built yet. I'm getting the engine going first and then I'll add the ability to customize through that tab. I should include an intentionally left blank label on it I guess.. ;)

Salty - glad you are back !

Here´s another (rather minor) one :

Sorting by name. Atm my series are sorted chronological (sorted by the order I added them). A way to sort them by name would be great. But after all, this is a very low prio - just one to keep in mind.

Thanks for all the good work.

    Great plugin

I appreciate all the work that has gone into it, and wish Salty a good recovery. :D

Sounds like it's going to use the same method for working with recource sites like Ant Movie database. Nice, can't wait...

hmm...the plugin looks very promising, but I can't seem to get the filenames to match up to any of the expressions. It doesn't seem to like standard scene filenames, or even cleaner filenames with seriesname, season/episode number, and sometimes a title. A typical filename for me is Simpsons 08x01 - Treehouse of Horror VII [rl].avi or the.simpsons.1705.pdtv-lol.avi. Is there an expression already written into the plugin that can parse such a filename, I see they can be written, but i can't figure out the expression scheme.. Thanks a ton

    For me works :
    The.simpsons. 10x5.avi or
    the simpsons S5E07.avi
there are also a multiple other possibilities already implemented. Just try it out. It works with most of the common naming conventions.

    what does not work is

    The simpsons S5-E3.avi
or if you put the series and episode numbers in [S5E07]

The most helpful toll I found regarding myTVSeries Plugin is the bulk rename tool, which can be found here : http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,22983;order,1;page,1;c,All Downloads/description.html

Quite useful to rename large numbers of files......
