MyTVSeries - Plugin that organizes TV Video Files (2 Viewers)

Should I implement an automatic file organizer to move and rename files?

Fine....

Define Fine...

50% flexibility loss - is that fine ? :)

sorry I'm still a little shattered about the whole thing. I don't recommend anyone tries it. Especially in this industry...

I'm getting back up to speed with the code tonight if anyone cares ;)

Although I think this plugin is great idea and I appreciate the work that has gone into it, I can't help but wonder why it just doesn't use the available meetvshows database, and the user submitted banners/series page. This allows the tv on demand app to continue gathering data when tv.com changes it's layout. This also lets user submissions and corrections be put into the database. Walt81 has already stated on the Meedio forum that if someone else wants to write an app to access his server he would do nothing to prevent that.

That's part of the overall direction I would like to take this plugin. I want it to support multiple data sources as much as possible. Once the sgml handler supports and can be configured to any tv show website. I'll look at including web services and online databases like meeTVshows.

For now I'm concentrating on getting the majority of tv shows working for the majority of users. I chose episodeworld.com because it too supports community contributions and corrections.

I've added a couple of new shows from years past and they became available within 6 hours. I felt that was pretty damn good.

salty - I was wondering will the sgml handler be configurable so that is doesn't need re-coding any time one of the websites that hold the TV data changes?
