does anyone know how to detect if video can be played in HQ?

i have solved this quick and dirty by trying to download HQ url, if i get 404 then the file cannot be played in hq

let me know if there are other solutions but i don't think google api has one.. pretty stupid..

that does not work, all the pages have that text and then its parsed by javescript afterwards.. i used the method from above, works just fine here

anyhow here is my updated version with the source..

cleaned the code, fixed few bugs, made it more robust, updated to latest google api, ..., ...

before installing delete your current myYouTube db coz i added some stuff there too (its located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database\myYouTube.db3)

i just haven't managed to get the #Play.Current.* gui properties to work.. i set them up after player is started but they get cleared sometime later by idontknowwhat..

Having an odd problem. I noticed that some videos didn't show up when searching. Examples: 'gasping wow' (should return two videos) and 'rave channel' (should return a couple of Marusha videos). However typing gaspingwow and ravechannel without the space between the words made the videos appear for some strange reason.

Does anyone know how to play the youtube videos with quality 34 and 35 in MP (see -> youtube quality).

I toyed a little with the source and I'm able now to choose which quality I want to play/download, but I can't get those 2 formats to play...

I've written a small app (attached) for testing purposes which parses a youtube site and shows direct links for all available formats.

Is anyone able to play the formats 34 and 35 in MediaPortal?
