Let me start by explaining my setup:
Dish500 satellite dish with a dishpro quad lnb where two coax feed into a DPP44 switch and then feed one of those ports to my FireDTV. The DPP44 is needed as I actually have an additional Dish500 I would like to start using and I also want more FireDTV's running on the other end of that switch once I get a working basic system.
This setup works well in MyTheatre using modified ini files and their DishPro settings.
I can scan channels (most of them but not all by any means) using the TVServer and the custom ini's and have tried every variation of diseqc and dish type and lof1 and lof2 setting (reverting back to the tried and true of 11250 mostly), HOWEVER, I am only able to tune in LNB1. There is something wrong with the code that will not allow me to either use the DishPro quad or, more likely the DPP44 or the combination of the two.
Can someone with some knowledge at MP get in touch with me so I can help make MP work with this type of equipment? This has been an outsatnding issue with MP (among MANY other things) for a very long time. I have hope for MP and that is why I am here but come on guys!!!
