so I will not try anymore with the LAV video decoder

I tried it with the cyberlink but it doesn't work either.

Hope there are also other non-Nvidia tester who can confirm to have the same problem as me so it can help for improve maybe.
For this film I will have to use MP 1.2.1 + SAF 6.02 (ffdshow)

I just tested the native bluray of mediaportal with the BR folder and the m2ts file and also use graphstudio

BR folder
it's MediaPortal BD Reader whom splits the video and audio => video jerks

m2ts file
it's LAV Splitter Source whom splits the video and audio => video is OK

So I don't think its a video codec problem

I have both, ATI 5770 and GTS450, but i don’t have the sample to test.

Which Video Decoder did it use, because by default VC1 is unticked in Lav Video configuration, so maybe WMVideo Decoder DMO, or something else?

It would be easier to guess if we know more about your system (OS,CPU,GPU etc.).

I follow this instruction Providing a Sample Blu-ray Content - MediaPortal Wiki and put the sample in the folder Destination Finale 4 3D.

It use ffdshow video decoder and LAV audio decoder.

I'm using Win7 - 64bit , i7-860, ATI radeo HD 4600 series

Im not sure where to post issues when using your build? The issue that im having is when watching live tv. The picture freezes and never recovers. Sound keeps on playing.

As first you should be trying to reproduce the issue with official 1.2.1 build (soon with 1.2.2). Usually other parts of the MP shouldn't be affected by the BD related changes - the change is quite small that you would be seeing some regression on those area.

From logs it looks like it could be just bad signal you are having.

OK. thanks. I saw those discontinuitys but that is just a coinsident, also the freeze does not happen until 13:46.

There is a small change that it could be something in EVR presenter (EVR mixer changes to format for some reason - reason not visible in the logs). Was this the first time when it happened? Do you still have that TS buffer? If yes then try to reproduce with playing that TS buffer file inside My Videos.

Its not the first time and it seems its more likely to happen on some specific channels than others. I dont have that buffer but its pretty easy to recreate the issue. I will try to do that.

OK.

I have recreated the issue. It ssems it happens after a program is finished and commercials or another program start. Copied the bufer to my videos and the freeze happened at the same place.

MP does not respond afther this. audio keeps playing. i can hit stop and stop the audio/live tv stream, but the freeze remain on the screen and i have to kill the mediaportal process.

I have attached 2 log files. The original freeze and the freeze when playing the buffer from myvideos. I could upload the buffer to the FTP if you would like? i just need login details.
