    1) Is it supported by MovingPictures plugin?

    No - as far as I know it would require a modified Moving Pictures plugin.

    2) What renderer should I use? The screenshots you posted seems to run EVR CP in MPC-HC......

    The one that comes with the installer - it is a slightly modified / fixed version of the MP1's own EVR presenter that comes with 1.2.1.

    Hi Somy,

    1- MovingPictures is not supported with this build but i can make it one for test :)
    2- it's EVR renderer and stat is made by using ! key or shift + 1

    Seb.

    OK. Sorry to be off the topic, do you know whether it is possible to do dithering/debanding in EVR? The default luma expansion looks awful when feeding NV12. :D:D

    Thanks for the reply!:D:D
    It would be great to have bluray native support also in MovingPictures. Right now MovingPictures already support playback of the main content in a bluray disk.
    Shift+1 is really cool, it's a shame that I didn't know this before :oops::oops::oops:

    This one works without any issues. What codecs were used when testing?

    I used the LAV-codecs which are provided in the first post. I tried the BR yesterday again and got no pic but sound. I could see the menu without background in the mini-view on homescreen but in fullscreen I got only a black display.

    Sorry about being so quiet for some days, but there has been so much other things happening as well (MP and real life). In any case a small update on the BD side could be good to have:

    • New overlay rendering code is in place (utilises latest changes in libbluray). This will sort out following test BDs that I have Foo Fighters, Metallica, BBC Planet Earth, Burn After Reading... This is almost done now
    • A propietary interface between the source filter and MediaPortal to handle playback position / duration. This will allow smoother "playlist" changes inside BDs as we dont have to fake any seek operations (DirectShow was not designed for Blu-ray or DVD style playback...)
    • Some generic fixes for some of the test BDs I have received - keep the test material coming, those are almost the only way to fix the found issues and improve the compatibility
    • Audio stream selection not kept in seamless branching BDs (as a side note - Disney / Pixar has made mastering error on Cars BD. It causes Finish and Islandic languages to be swepped for a brief moment :))

    ...in short the next test release should cure most of the reported issues (not all thou :()
