I might update the display driver for my ATI 6670 and the realtek sound drivers later...

Why not use the ATi audio drivers instead of Realtek? Or aren't you using HDMI for audio also?

I do use ATI audio drivers and I do use HDMI for audio... most of the time. ATI has a known bug that intermittenly causes the HDMI audio to be "disconnected" when I change inputs on my TV and come back to the PC-side and the only solution in that case is to reboot or use the realtek audio (analog). For me, it's faster to change to the realtek audio than reboot. (No, it's not the cause of this sound problem with this movie :), I've also tried it with the realtek drivers )

Little more info on the subject. When I start the movie from menu and I do the "seek +15sec" twice and then I get sound. If I press menu again and choose "Play movie", it will continue playing the movie from the previous timeline and once again, I don't have sound anymore. I have LAV version 0.50.5.

Did you test with the new BDReader.ax?

Yes. Did not get sound with that either.

Hmm... really odd. Does anyone else have an access to that same movie? Unknown.

Thank you for the answer. I disabled the plugin. Now, when i insert a BR Disc, nothing happens. I still can start the movie over the according moving pictures entry, but there is no popup dialogue. The feature is played directly..
When i selected Play Disc in the home menu, MP didn't recognize the BR. So if i would have a disc, which is unknown to my moving pictures database, it would be inaccessible over MP... :(
Try playing the Blu-ray movie under My Videos plugin. I'm not sure if Moving Pictures supports the native Blu-ray player yet.

I tried to start the BR by selecting the ODD over the My Video Plugin (which is the "Videos" plugin, right?). It just opened the BR Folder instead of playing it.

I had this problem too and found a solution from latest ATI Catalyst 12.6 Beta driver. http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst126beta.aspx

Could you post a log of such case?
