Sounds like the graph needs to be rebuilt occasionally. Was the error "program/channel not found" again, or "no signal"?

this is just crazy this is never going to work

i m not fan of windows 7 but now i just hate it, i have a lot of trouble, i already disabble uac (user account control) this just make me crazy
for exemple i try to use mkvmerge, but i could start muxing (had not permision to writ to folder)
i m administrator but it looks like we are not realy administrator, so i right clic the program open as administrator but now i cannot drag & drop file into it, it s disable
so i add all user to have permission to write to the disk , so that mkvmerge coud write to disk, i don't think this make windows 7 safe lol

and olso an other problem with permission, a computer under win2003 when i try to acces to the share folder (from this computer win 7) it say me i don't have right to acces, it don't ask me for login & password (i did give only administrator right to acces share)
maybe because i use the same computer name before i move to win7, and i think i used administrateur befor, and now it s carlo
i don't know where win xp & 2003 serveur store login& password from lan share's)


bak to mediaportal, a lot of trouble

it not only the diseq what not working right , i try to watch tv on an client computer in my living room and it s not working right , sound and video lags , you mostly cannot understand that thay saying (client under win xp , with last mp 1.2.3.0)
i try to change codec but the problem comes from the server
i try with my laptop under seven, olso mp 1.2.3.0 and same result

move too other channel is mostly not working (even on same satelite) (no error , just blac screen)
i can't even not tune the same channel on the 2 clients (it say no signal on the segond)

but when i watch on the server ther is no lag

i try to add the log but the i clic uplaod a file, nothing happens

I regret having installed seven, but i don't want to restart again

i disable firewall but it s not the problem

any idea ?

i add the log, i couldn't add it with firefox, nothing happen when i clic on upload a file, so i use ie


i tryed with an old mp build 1.1.2.0
but same results
i never had mediaportal working so badly, i even can't tune the same channel on 2 clients

i stop definitely now,with windows 7 64bits i have some new trouble, the network speed

when i copy a file to an other computer , the speed seems normal, +-220mbits

but when i copy a file to this computer at same time , it just drop to 2-4mbits
and same as i play a video from network(when copying) mpc even stop playing the video like if i had a wifi network, it never happens under xp, even never lags sins i have gigabits network

it s the last nidia driver (nforce 570)

i try the default microsoft driver, it s even worse,
when i copy one big file, it s just stop, after 2sec , network die, no internet no network browsing, but it s still displayed as conected ,


i tryed with an pci network card , (dlink gigabits), default windows driver
but it does just the same
tryed tv on a mp client , did the same , lag, cutout each sec or 2

1 files transfer , +- 140 mbits (max speed because of pci slot)
but if i play a video hd or copy an other file in the other way, it s very bad speed 2-4 mbits


so i m not sure it s a driver problem , because it did the same with the dlink
and i can not watch sd tv what use less than 5 mbits , and it can copy a file at 200mbits
or play a network video (even with 50mbits bitrate video) when i don't copy files, or does something with network

so i suspect something else in windows 7, firewall was disable


and olso i had some bleu screen from the omicom card, when i scan for channels


so i m going to try windows seven 32bit before i go back to xp , when i get some time

i tested with windows 7 32bit, same thing happen

so back to xp , and than still same thing appen, all works fine , transfer speed are good , i can play video over the lan , form the tv server pc

but mediaportal still not working, so i tryed streming with dvbdream, surpised it didn't work to, the video and the audio was completly corrupt

and on the old computer all was fine


so i don't understand why i cannot stream with that computer

i don't found solution so i decide to change the motherbord with that from my file server computer

so i did that, rebuild the 2 computers

i just finished with the most of installing, and with this motherborad, mediaportal server is working

and the file serveur works good to, i have now 2 more sata port on it,

the bad thinks on the tv server, is that now i have only 2 pci,slot (small motherbord) so i can only add usb or 1 pci express tv card,

but it s ok for now


so i happy i could find some solution


now still the omicom diesq problem
