Can't you just select the above card and see if it works?
Also check the following:
* do you have a dvd decoder installed
* do you have the MS update for dual/multiple tuners (search the forum)

Hey. I actually can't select any card or anything like that, because nothing shows up in MP where I should be able to "Add" a 'capture card.' It keeps saying that I don't have a 'capture card.'
Should there be a list of different TV tuner cards for me to choose from in the setup??

No there is no dropdown list if the card is not recognised.
Just had a look for driver on Nvidia website. is this yours,
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nvtv_winxp_mc_1.20.45
Might be worthwhile trying to update, if yours is an older revision.
If no good, follow the how to get your TV card supported and send to Dman.

No, that's not the one I have. natrlhy has the link for mine. I will take your advise, though, and download/install the drivers from the NVidia site and see if that works.
Could be that there is something wrong with the driver CD that came with the tuner.

Well I just wanted to follow up...
I've taken some extra time to document my MediaPortal journey. I will be posting my full installation procedures after I get to a satisfactory point with MP.
As of tonight 9/4/06 @ 11:05PM PDT MP is up and running!
I can view my DirecTV signals with my NVIDIA DualTV MCE card. I'm not sure if it made a difference but I got a CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file from an IRC member (rtv) that might have made a difference. I think I had some things misconfigured before I put this CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file into place.
From my experience, viewing TV through the S-Video connection from my DirecTV receiver to my NVIDIA DualTV is functioning properly.
