I just installed StreamedMP-1.2.1.1553.exe on MP 1.1.

I don't use the fancy pages (that the separate config program uses) I just use the nice simple ones for speed.

1. How to I turn off the "New Version is available" icon on startup?

2. Is there any way to hide the top horizontal control bar on the main menu (in case I'm using the mouse via RAdmin)? It use to only appear if I was in TV-Series or Moving Pictures.

Thanks again for the nice Skin.

Oh... is this still the way to do this?

If you want WideBanners when you first go into TV-Series, but want FanArt everywhere else:
You can also goto your StreamedMP Skin directory and edit a file: TVSeries.SkinSettings.xml, in there you will see:
<series layout="ListPosters">
change this to:
<series layout="WideBanners">

    Install the update, and it will go away. See here for more information: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/streamedmp-301/streamedmp-patches-83164/

    That is called the 'Top Bar', it's a mediaportal plugin can be disabled by entering MediaPortal's configuration and disable it from the Plugins section.

    That worked ... amazing :D

    But seriously, on my MP systems, I practice "if it works don't mess with it" ... how can I turn off the check or hide the pretty icon?

    I wasn't in Expert mode yet so TopBar was hidden... fixed.

    I can't get TV-Series to run properly, but when I do ... I will try your easier way. I used to have banners on the main screen, but a fan art layout on each series.

    Thanks.

    In Configuration->Plugins->StreamedMP Configuration->Skin Update Tab->Disable 'Check for update when MediaPortal Starts'

    ---------------

    That is pretty close but not quite right. I need a full page of banners with no fan-art at the top. Fan-Art only on main Series page (after clicking on a banner).

    I tried the above edit but it doesn't seem to work any more on this new version.

    To rephase ...

    After clicking on TV-Series from the main menu, how do I get a full page of banners (only) to select from. Thanks ...

    Run modify of setup, and choose a widebanner mod for tvseries. You can see our wiki on how to do this.

    In the future we will allow you to do this from settings in the GUI.

    So if I keep the Update Feature on, it will just show up one day? Maybe it could be called WideBanners Full ?

    It shows when there is an update and you restart MediaPortal.

    We went with a name which describes what you see ie 10x4 or 7x3 (both of these a *Full*). there is a link to the gallery to help you choose. When this is available to be chosen from the GUI you will see a screenshot as well so its going to be really easy to pick and change soon.
