I noticed I seem to have a strange problem. In my TV setup, I have a local path and a network UNC path setup with all my shows. Lately, I've noticed that the network path is not always available as soon as the machine finishes booting. When this happens, it seems the plugin believes the shows are gone and rescans all the network for my shows. (A long process I would prefer to skip.) Is this an issue of the plug-in, or have I misconfigured something?

On a second note, any way to add shows in manually? (Movie specials and DVD extras that are not in the thetvdb.com)

PS, Awesome plug-in. Wish there was a movies Plug-in like it.

Well i think Windows XP disconnects before entering standby... when it resumes the plugin takes too long to bring all my tv series up...

If you are using DHCP you could try to use a static ip. It will shorten the time windows takes to reconnect.

To get around this problem I set the config to not delete references to local files on scan. With that set everything works perfectly for me.

I have the same problem with standby, since hibernation won't seem to work with my htpc. Can you explain further what you did or what can i do to fix it please?

Thanks in advance.

I would recommend not powering off your ethernet adapter during standby:

    1. Double click on your NIC in Device Manager
    2. Click on Power Management
    3. Un-Check the option 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'

    Cheers,
    Damien
