I have a problem with my tv-channels, which I have conveniently placed into groups, and performing new channel scans. Whenever I scan and make groups for the first time, all goes well. However, from the moment I want to add new channels, e.g. by scanning a different transponder, MP adds an "All Channels" group to my existing groups, which messes up my whole setup. When I start MP, and choose TV--> Channels nothing comes up (where previously all my groups were located). I've tried ticking "Hide all channels group" in the MP config, but this doesn;'t make any difference.
The "All Channels" group is non-deletable in the TV server config (**even when I rename the All Channels group to something different, like "1234" this "1234" group also is permanent. To top thins off, MP also adds a "All Channel" group again, resulting in 2 non deletable groups!!!**). Basically I have to throw away all my existing channels and scan them all over again, which is very time consuming. Ofcourse, this is an option: I have a quad LNB, and I should just pick 4 positions which I'm going to use, scan them all, group the channels and never worry again. However, I'm affraid the same problem will emerge when I scan all my 4 LNB's again if things need to be updated (channels switch pretty frequently on satellite).
Is there something I am missing in the setup, or is this a glitch in the software?
