You should upload at least 20MB sample file for Ziphnor. Re-registering the DVBsub2.ax shouldn't help, but it's not going to do any harm.

    regsvr32 DVBSub2.ax

This is just a fake warning, its just an assert that was left over. I updated the code but not the binary i guess. (tourette, could you update the binary perhaps?).

Could you perhaps include your complete logs, from the snippets you provided there doesnt seem to be a problem.

The teletext is about 15 sec before it changes.

What exactly do you mean by this? Does the subtitles just remain too long instead of disappearing or are some subtitles lost, due to lack of updates?

Your mediaportal.log should contain the content of the subtitle pages along with timings (at least if you are in Debug log mode, which you should be when testing).

Ok here is the logs... did not find tve3log but i fond DVBSub and MP logs

    2007-09-22 17:56:06.203125 [Info.][14]: Problem marshalling TEXT_SUBTITLE

Looks like there is some bug in the teletext part of the code. Could you upload a small .ts recording so that Ziphnor can have a look on the issue.

Yes there is some problem on the C++ side. I am betting its related to the handling of serially transmitted magazines (because thats what DVBSub.log is saying: " Magazine 1 reported as in serial mode!").
I could really use the sample that is doing this.

For the rest of you with problems, do you also have : "Magazine X reported as in serial mode!" in DVBsub.log?

hmm... didn't see any changes in SVN. Are you sure that you did a SVN commit? :)

I noticed that when we have DVB subtitles enabled we are leaking some resources (the graph doesn't get released and that causes some crashes / hangs...) I'll try to look what is causing that.

UPDATE: this seems to be a false alarm... I used GraphEdit and it was not releasing the graph on the MP side for that reason.

But there seems to be still something odd in the TsReader / teletext output pin. When running both (TsReader and DVBSub2) filters as debug DLLs closing the graph if teletext pins are connected causes a crash inside GraphEdit.

For everyone who is having crashes or hangs when chaning channels:

    1) put http://day2.no-ip.org/TsReader_no_teletext.ax in MediaPortal directory
    2) regsvr32 /u TsReader.ax
    2) regsvr32 TsReader_no_teletext.ax

That TsReader version has the teletext pin disabled. At lest I was able to zap around for 30 minutes (got bored at that point).
