This is the one feature that will finally make me switch to TVE3 - Thanks developers for making my day!

Hi

I have tried a lot but it doesn't work yet.

(Mp hangs when i switch channel and nothing happens when I press L)

I installed theese:

V0.2.3.0 RC2,
TVEngine3 Snapshot: 09-20-2007 17-34h Revision 15980,
SVN-Snapshot: 09-20-2007 17-42h - Revision:15980

I have unregistered the old files too.

Should I configure something in the TVEngine? or should I just start MP and the subtitle filter will work?

What versions of TV engine and what SVN-Snapshot version do you use when it works?

Ok I have this working now, well "working" anyway :)
The DVB subs work like normal, the teletext subtitles flash on the screen for half a second and then dissapear.

Still better than nothing, just have to read real quick :)

I noticed the same with teletext subtitles. I'm sure Ziphnor will have a look on that issue after he gets back to home.

Every one having issues with the channel changing please make sure you have followed the following instruction in the TsReader thread:

    NOTE!!!
Please disable all options in the tv plugin setup like
    - prefer ac3
    - recreate graph when video changes
    - recreate graph when audio changes

Im actually a bit surprised at this, but it is probably some very simple problem. It does not occur with any of the .ts files i have available to me. However, i believe all those channels transmit teletext magazines in parallel mode, so maybe there is a problem when they are in serial mode. Either that or somehow an empty subtitle page is not being filtered out correctly in subtitle renderer.

But since its occurring for you as well tourettes, could you upload a sample file as well?

I have installed 15980 now both MP SVN and TVE3
I still got the teletext subtitle delay in the MP Client...(15 sec between updates)
I thought that problem was already solved ??? or have i missed something?

Did you follow the installation instructions from the first post in this thread? Sounds like you are using the old teletext subtitle implementation.
