I think the 'trick' is that it's not really 3D. If you are watching the videos carefully you can see that the cover frames give you the illusion of 3D but the cover pictures themselves are still flat 2D and simply cut by the frames. You will recognize this very well if you compare the the horizontal cover inscriptions and the perspective frame borders.

But please don't misunderstand me: finding such an 'easy' solution is simply INGENIUS!!

Hi all,

I have now work with first priority on this skin the last weeks.
All major problems are solved now and the progress is comming along realy good.

The first betaversion of the skin will be released next month, sure.

and here now the final screenshots of current status

As you can se there are some specials in it, the views are with 3D effekt, and the buttons are sliding in and out, also the views are sliding.

Great work - I think this is one of the most anticipated skin developments for a long time, and will be a great addition to the MP scene, especially with a new stable release round the corner.

I think it really should at the very least include the "Hot Plugins" like MyFilms and TVSeries. I keep my fingers crossed - looks very nice so far!

I have used this trick in SpinSafe Revolve for several months.

Best MP skin design I've ever seen for MP!!!!
Looks similar to the the glossy design of the iTunes/Front row application on MAC OS X
I like this shining surface VERY much!
Really a torture to wait until next month to see it live in my MP environment.....
