New Release:

* Fixed online updates not working when updating episodes

Hi,

is this supposed to be a fix for Issue 130, Check for missing episode images, where episode images and director/writer details don't get updated later if they weren't there for the first scan? If so, none of my episodes that had missing images/details have updated (the images/details are on thetvdb.com but my episodes are not updating).

It should work for new episodes that go into your database, it only updates the episodes that have changed online since your last update.

If you want to update your existing one you will need to delete and re-import or select the option to 'download episode information for whole series' as that option always updated everything.

I was having some issues getting episode thumbs, but figured out it's a thetvdb.com problem. Curious if you might have some insight into the cause. The episode has an image thumb but the en.xml that comes in the zip does not have it listed. Rating is the same way - even though the episode may have a rating when going to thetvdb.com, the xml that comes down doesn't have the info.

I tried saving the episode again from thetvdb.com interface.

Also, I'm getting this for Life on Mars:
00000006 - 3/9/2009 11:55:26 PM - New Fanart found for "Life on Mars (US)": fanart/original/82289-3.jpg
00000006 - 3/9/2009 11:55:32 PM - Banner download failed (http://thetvdb.com/banners/fanart/original/82289-3.jpg)

but the banners.xml file that comes down from thetvdb.com only has:

- <Banner>
<id>33257</id>
<BannerPath>fanart/original/82289-2.jpg</BannerPath>
<BannerType>fanart</BannerType>
<BannerType2>1280x720</BannerType2>

Sorry, im not sure. I do know there has been quite a few problems the last few days. You might want to keep an eye on theTVDB.com forums for updates.

Thats very strange, do you have a proxy or something similar where you may be getting a cached copy of an old zip file?
The downloader reads the banners.xml so I have no idea why it would pick up a non-existent one from the xml. I have seen banners in the XML but not online but not vice versa.

StreamedMP SVN will have features that may not be available as part of the release...you will need to wait until a new release of TVseries is made or you can compile this yourself from SVN. SeriesCount and GroupCount properties are new.

I thought that may be the case.

By design, I think if you are sorting like that then it should be displayed like that. You can raise an enhancement request to be able to disable this. Basically I override PrettyName with SortName if you are sorting by SortName and Vice Versa.

Old functionality was that Sort Name was for sorting and Pretty Name for displaying. Otherwise, why have two fields? Just have an option to strip 'The' from show names like the music section. I much prefer to read "The Mighty Boosh" but sorted at M. Otherwise 'The...' gets cluttered. "Mighty Boosh, The" looks so geeky.

Are you sure all episodes for that series are watched? I think it may include hidden ones and files that are not-local as well if you download information for whole series. Try disabling 'only show available episodes' in options menu then verify all are watched. You can also at the series level select 'Mark all as watched'

EDIT: Going to re-check in stable version

Have rolled back to stable version of plugin and using TVSeries.xml released in v0.6 of StreamedMP and still get unwatched icon in Series and Season level, but correct watched icon at episode level. See screenshots. (Using Stable TVSeries plugin and TVseries.xml released with v0.6 StreamedMP)

Looks like a StreamedMP bug with that particular set of options chosen. It should be showing a UnWatched count next to the UnWatched icon in the list...in your case this should be zero. Did you manually customize this by any chance, because thats what it looks like?

It looks like you have customize the skinsettings and not using defaults that the StreamedMP installer sets. If you choose Unwatched icons in the StreamedMP installer then that is what you get, you should also see an UnWatched Episode count next to this. Have a look at picture.

The StreamedMP Installer lets you choose between Watched/UnWatched or just UnWatched icons in Series/Season View. It will show the corresponding episode count next to these icons.

You can uninstall StreamedMP and re-install...thats the only option I can see you doing, dont use SVN. This is not a bug in TVSeries or StreamedMP...im not surprised something went wrong since you are using SVN of StreamedMP instead of Installer Configuration.

    Thanks!

Uninstalled and reinstalled and now I'm getting the Unwatched Icon followed by the number of unwatched episodes

Where should I be looking to modify so that the GUI only displays Un/Watched icon in Series and Season view without a number? Unwatched icon if there are unwatched episodes and Watched icon if all watched (Similar to icon over series/season banner). Should I be looking in MPTVSeries Config the xmls?

Sorry for bugging you about this and thanks for your help.
