no the tagreader will not be part of the 0.2.0.5 patch.
I'm currently integrating it into SVN and will most probably make it available by tommorow. Too late for the 0.2.0.5.
Strange since there is no 2.0.5 out yet.... perhaps it will be there anyway, due to what I expect to be a delayed 2.0.5?

Hi it looks like the new tagreader has some problems with flac files.

i'am curently changing my music collection from mp3 to flac and reading in all my cd's.
90% of the new flac end up in the musicdatabase as unknown - unknown (right time thou). for some reason some are displayed correct.

crosschecked with foobar winamp and godfather .. there are tags in the files and all of them can read them.

did also delete my musicdatabase and created it new. no change.

someone i can send a demo file and the logs to?

    greets Garion

    Garion,

there was a problem, because your files contain an Application Data Meta Block "caCUE Splitter (www.enfis.it)", that was inserted by your application.
We didn't take care of it and the following SeekTable Meta Data block.
this caused the tagreader to ignore the rest of the file.

it is fixed now and included in the next svn snapshot.

    regards,

    Helmut

No, it doesn't. THe sample, with the CUE above meant that the flac file was processed with the caCUE Splitter.

However, if you can explain what you expect from processing .CUE files, i might look into it.
Do you want to have for example one large mp3 and i should read the tags out of a cue?

    I've tried the MULTI-TAG reader !!! (1200 MP3's in 38sec)

    Everything works fine except:

    1. I've got Tracks with the number 0, which is not read !!!

    2. I've got Tracks with the numbers 100A, 100B, 100C which are not read too !!!

are you talking about "Track" as the Track in a Tag? i.e. Track 1 on a CD
or do you mean something else by that?
