If I'm not mistaken, the author of MyFilms; zebons, is french. Now, writing in german is not the best start on sovling a problem is it?

I will try again but now in english,,,,
I have installed on my pc mediaportal version 1.0.0.rc4 and am trying the myfilms version 4.7.9 but it just doesnt work...
If everything is installed i get this screen when i open the myfilms plugin.
I also tryed the stable version of my films but then wenn i start the plugin it shows the right screen and also gives a heavy mediaportal back so i have to close mediaportal...
I hope someone of you has a solution because i find the myfilms plugin one of the best and i really want to keep on using this..

I have the newest MyFilms installed on two RC4 machines, and they work, so there must be a problem with the plugin or the skin.
The screenshot looks like Monochrome. Are you using the newest Monochrome skin? Think it's version 2.4 that is the newest. And does it work in other skins?

thanks for he qiuck reply.. and no this is not the monochrom but its the indigio 2.4 the newest skin.. and also in the blue3 and blue3wide of the Mediaportal rc4 its not working.
I didnt change anything to the database (ants) .. Maybe i just installed something wrong, but if i replace the mediaportal and myfilms with the old versions it al works..
I attached some views of my problems
the photofilename indicates zhe versionnumber..

Sorry, if this has been covered, but I've searched the forums and read the wiki - and I've seemingly missed where the use of fan art was covered (where to get it and where to put it!)
I see it needs be the same name as the movie title in your xml, but where does the "fan art" need to reside? is it the same "fan art" folder under the 'all users' profile that TVseries uses?
And where do you get the fan art from - manually from the same sites that moving pictures uses, or can it be downloaded automatically (I saw a reference to IMDB which surprised me...)?
And what file types are supported (jpg/bmp/gif)?

I only searched for a couple of images on the internet to test this feature. The fanart pictures show up in the plugin when I select such a movie. But the images is "transparent" so the background shows thru.

As dakota told you, you can define what folder in your HD you want to store the fanart pictures. Im using the same as Aeon Wide skin movies backdrops
At the moment, you have to download them manually, but a new grabber is being developed that will allow automatic download and multi-site grabbing of info.
