With a manual update run with AMCUpdater I think it'd be possible to relaunch the scan for posters with another script and of course by choosing only the picture field.

yes, it can do that, but not with a manual update.
In interactive mode, point to the poster scrip in "Path to Internet lookup Parser", in tab "Option", type "Picture" in the "AMC database field with movie path" and in tab "Database field", choose field picture only, then we can relaucn the scan for only the picture field

yes, we can select all entries in AMC and do a rescan, however it take us a lot of mouse clicks every entry to complete the scan

Another question, if i use the GoodMovies script from within MyFilms, where is the picture gonna be saved?

I must be stupid or something but I still don't have the new MyFilms (4.7.5, tried again today) working....
The skin just show some placeholders and says label missing and stuff. I did import ant catalogs in there...

I even tried removing all skin files and plugins by hand before installing the mpi file, that didn't help...

I didn't re-export the ant catalogs since they should be fine (they are working with the older version I'm still using, dunno the version number out the top of my head)

Exactly the same problem here. Tried everything. Anyone?

I think that you use a skin not updated (not delivered in the mpi package). What skin do you use ?

Hi. I have a new suggestion, about hierarchy groups. I dont know if this is related to skin (aeon wide) or the plugin.
In the main screen, when browsing the collection, in the hierarchy groups this is displayed:

- Rating
- Year
-Genre
of the last selected film (saving private Ryan), but NOT the synopsis and film title, so I think it is possible to hide fields.

I suggest to hide also Rating, year and genre. And to show the hierarchy group name instead of the film title; in my example, "saw". If possible would be great if could be displayed also the number of films that the group contains (4), and the fanart from any of them.

In my example screen, the group is saw\saw 1, saw\saw 2, saw\saw 3 and saw\saw 4

I solved my problem. The problem was in blue3 skin. After I installed myFilms 4.7.5 I didin't download skin files for blue3 (look first post in this thread), because installation already told me the skin was installed. That was a mistake. So after myFilms 4.7.5, install blue3 skin files. Works perfectly.

same problem as joz, even when i install blue3 skinfile after installing 4.7.5 but MP still crash when opneing myfilms

Hi, having the same problem with My Films 4.7.5 and MP 1.0.0.0.RC3. When I go into My Films MP crashes unexpectantly. Am using the Blue3 skin that came with RC3. Have tried updating to the latest SVN but still same result. Logs attached. Can you suggest which Skin I should be using?

Yes, that right. but with AMCUpdater, you can specify with field you want to update. So i think, you can scan your movies with IMDB script with all fields except posters, and you can re scan with just posters scripts.

I'm not very sure ... Zebons can you confirm that ?

Hi all,

Sorry for the delay. Zebons is correct - AMCUpdater (and the grabber it uses) cannot use multiple Internet sites in a single run. You can run it twice - for example an import without selecting 'Picture' and then a manual update (using a different Internet script) to update the images.

But... You cannot do a manual update run from batch mode at present. Until the grabber can support multiple Internet sources this will have to be a manual process.
