    No.

    Gemx included the patch in the compiled core.dll you can find in the first post. I use almost the same patch in IFC.

    The stuttering should be more effect HD channels.

    If you can test the beta IFC from this thread. that would help me, but it seems you don't have the original stuttering problem that come with the frame grabbing. If you do testing please post in the IFC thread :D

    AW: [New Plugin] Atmolight Process Plugin **Update 25.05.2010 V1.9**

    Hi,

    thanks for the file.

    Unfortunately, on my machine, MP won't start with the patched core.dll.
    Is anyone running this successfully with MP1.1.1?

    The MP splash screen won't go any further than "Starting plugins..." and error.log shows lots of:
    Code:
    2010-10-13 18:37:54.546875 [ERROR][MPMain(1)]: d3dapp: Exception: System.MissingMethodException: Methode nicht gefunden: "Void MediaPortal.GUI.Library.GUITextureManager.ReleaseTextures()".
       bei MediaPortalApp.Render(Single timePassed)
       bei MediaPortal.D3DApp.Render3DEnvironment()

    Disabling the plugin (1.9) has no effect.
    Reverting back to the original MP1.1.1-core.dll fixes the issue.

    I'll provide more detailed logs tomorrow if needed. For now, I'm more worried about the WAF ;)

    Hi,

    when I press "Stop" the context menu appears as it should, but then my remote doesn't work anymore like it has no focus on the dialog ... Is there a way around that?

    Also, what AtmoWin Settings are you using? I played around a bit with it but still got some bright flashes sometimes, and when most of the screen is black except some text (movie credits for example) the AtmoLight is all white. Can I somehow "weigh" black into the mix so that white text on an all-black screen results in dimmed lights?

    Thanks,
    Shukuyen.

    for your flashing problem: try to lower "darkness limit". darkness limit stands for the limit where darker pixel are disregarded in the calculation.
    eg. darkness limit "2" means pixel with 20% or less brightness (in hsv colorspace) are not used for calculation, "3" -> "30%" and so on...
    so if you lower that value more pixels in darker areas are used for calculation and less flashing should happen.
    a side effect would be that the led output is darker, but you can compensate that with the "brightness" option.

    for your stop problem: have you tried the "keep mediaportal always on top" option in the mediaportal configuration (under general) ?

    Thanks for the hints, MacGyver2k. Lowering the darkness limit and the color change speed already helped a lot.
    I don't want to use "always on top" because this would interfer with MyEmulators ... but I think the problem is somewhere else. I send remote commands via tcp/ip, so it doesn't matter if MP is active or not. The up/down/enter/escape commands should always end up in MediaPortal, but the AtmoLight context menu does not get them.

    For everyone using MP 1.1.2 on Windows 7 x86.
    I've rebuild the Core.dll with the patch gemx posted in the beginning.

    Together with Atmolight Plugin 1.9 and Atmowin 0.48 it is working great.

    Greetings,
    Jo

    i have the same problem, but i don't need that feature. so i use plugin version 1.8 to not get stuck so often.
