Hi!
First of all. What a great plugin!


Im using one og the cheap boxes (Inetbox 300 with Dreambox500 Gemini 4.00 image)
I've installed the MydreamboxTV using kiapiz solution (#89 and update)

I am able to get the connection, and I can also watch (the first) channel.
If I change channel, the bar in the bottom shows wich channel I have switched to, but I only see the VLC logo on a white screen.

Using a scart to connect to my tv I can see that the dreambox changes the channel, and shows it, as it should.

Back on my PC screen, the only way I can get proper picture again is to switch back to the channel on wich i started.
In other words. The only working channel is the one i start on.

My next issue is, that Im not quite satisfied with the picture quality. It doesn't run as smooth over Lan as it does with direct cabeling in the tv. Is that because of my box, or is my computer to small?

I have made a danish language xml file. If your'e interested in that just let me know.

Hi.

I copied every file to each mapp in mediaportal folder, configure dreambox plugin ,when i start the
DreamDbox TV, mediaportal crash every time , i have 0.2.3.0 in HTPC and latest gemeni in dreambox 7020S.

Used from post #89 and then update.

Mayby i'm doing wrong ?

if I have a' clean install with mediaportal , which files do I need to get it work and were to put them?

Should I edit, or install something in DB ?

There is no problem to watch with webX-TV or Dreamstreamer on my laptop.

1. Try to start VNC directly from Start->Programs->VNC - just to make sure it works.
2. Make sure you have the AxInterop.AXVLC.dll file on the root directory of MP [C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal]

#bozzo70 - can you produce a the debug log for Media portal. usually when it crash MP creates a log. Just post it here and I'll look at it.

Looks like your VLC control is not recognized [MediaPortal.GUI.Mydbox.VideoLanControl]

Make sure you have the file [VideoLAN.dll] under \plugins\ExternalPlayers
and the file [AxInterop.AXVLC.dll] under the root directory of MP C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

Both files are there .

I have "Videolan.dll" and "external players.dll" in \plugins\ExternalPlayers

In the root is "AxInterop.AXVLC.dll"

Should I try any SVN build or should it work with 0.2.3.0 ?

do you also have [Interop.AXVLC.dll] in the root folder?

Its works on 0.2.3.0 - this is what I have
