new plugin for changing channels (DirecTV w/serial port) (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I updated the SVN to allow for digital subchannels in the TVE2 version.
It will parse the Major/Minor if the external channel is
in the form of 32-2 or 003202(note the length of 6)

I was/am a little short on time so if there are any problems
just post them and I will try to fix.

Two versions, one for the v0.2.2 release and one for SVN.

first, thanks for still dealing with it.
I've installed the plugin, configured it, started MP, everything was fine, well almost. I could change channels, as long as it's only the first sub like 005401, but not the second like 005402. But this is not major, after closing MP and re-open it, i've learned, not to celebrate too early, LOL, nothing doing anymore.

Try the attached.
If you get another error, make sure "Allow Digital SubChannels" is checked
and "Enable extensive Logging" is checked and then post the full mediaportal log.

I get no analog channel changing. I have the original DirecTV.SerialInterface.dll file in the MediaPortal main directory as well. I assume this is still required?

I think how found the what (still not sure on the why though)..

P.S. You should no longer need DirecTV.SerialInterface.dll
as diehard2 combine the two into the single dll.

This one worked for me! THANKS!
I was even able to manually configure a channel in my TV Channels to be channel 000201 (external channel) and I was able to tune to this channel with your modified serial plugin!

Now the trick is to somehow get these channels to exist and get EPG data for them since zap2it doesn't have these digital channels in the DirecTV lineup for my zipcode.
